About the Role

As a PIM Architect at Ekrocx, you'll design product-information platforms that centralise, enrich, and syndicate clean catalogue data across commerce channels. You'll lead modelling, governance, and integration strategy for enterprise retailers and CPG brands modernising their product data foundations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead PIM architecture and product data modelling for enterprise client programmes.
  • Design attribute models, taxonomies, families, and enrichment workflows that scale across channels.
  • Define channel syndication strategies for commerce, marketplaces, and digital assets.
  • Oversee integrations between PIM, ERP, DAM, and storefront systems via APIs and data pipelines.
  • Establish data quality rules, stewardship processes, and governance standards.
  • Guide discovery workshops, solution blueprints, and technical hand-off to delivery teams.
  • Mentor PIM consultants and engineers; review designs for scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in PIM, MDM, or product data architecture roles, ideally in consulting or agency settings.
  • Hands-on expertise with Akeneo, Pimcore, or comparable enterprise PIM platforms.
  • Strong product data modelling skills — attributes, hierarchies, localisation, and variants.
  • Experience designing API-led integrations and syndication to commerce / marketplace channels.
  • Ability to translate business catalogue requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication with both business and engineering audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Stibo, Salsify, or Informatica MDM alongside PIM.
  • Familiarity with retail / CPG data standards and multi-brand catalogue complexity.
  • Knowledge of DAM workflows and digital asset syndication.
  • Prior delivery of GCC or multi-region catalogue programmes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Flexible working arrangements — remote-friendly with global office access.
  • AED 8,000 annual learning and development budget.
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage from day one.
  • Access to a senior mentorship network across all disciplines.
  • Regular team off-sites, knowledge-sharing sessions, and career reviews.
