About the Role
As Senior Data Architect, you'll define the data strategy and technical architecture for enterprise clients undergoing large-scale transformation programmes. You'll bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation — designing robust data foundations that power analytics, AI, and personalisation at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead data architecture design across data warehousing, MDM, data governance, and analytics layers.
- Define data modelling standards, naming conventions, and platform-specific best practices (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Consult with enterprise clients to assess current data maturity and build transformation roadmaps.
- Oversee the implementation of Master Data Management solutions for product, customer, and supplier data.
- Design integration architectures connecting ERP, commerce, CRM, and BI systems.
- Review and approve technical designs from data engineers and BI developers.
- Present data architecture proposals to client CIOs and CDOs at C-suite level.
Requirements
- 7+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering, with at least 3 years in an architecture-level role.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake or BigQuery — schema design, performance tuning, security, cost management.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing MDM solutions (Stibo, Akeneo, Informatica, or similar).
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills (dimensional, Data Vault, or lakehouse patterns).
- Proven experience operating in enterprise consulting or professional services environments.
- Ability to communicate architecture decisions clearly in written and verbal form at all seniority levels.
Nice to Have
- Certifications in Snowflake, dbt, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with data governance tooling (Collibra, Alation, or Microsoft Purview).
- Familiarity with retail or CPG data models and industry data standards.
- Exposure to real-time data architectures using Kafka or Flink.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
- Flexible working arrangements — remote-friendly with global office access.
- AED 8,000 annual learning and development budget.
- Full health, dental, and vision coverage from day one.
- Access to a senior mentorship network across all disciplines.
- Regular team off-sites, knowledge-sharing sessions, and career reviews.
